Product Introduction

The PPB level backpack type natural gas leak inspection system ML3 mainly consists of two parts: one part is the mainframe based on high-precision mid-infrared laser analysis technology, the other part is the tablet equipped with analysis and inspection software.

The mainframe uses an innovative multi-channel absorption chamber combined with solid-state mid-infrared laser technology. The detection chamber has no mirrors, it is sturdy and compact, it can measure a 13-meter optical path in a small space of 60mL and also measure methane, ethane and water in parallel, all the measurements can achieve the PPB level sensitivity.  

The inspection software provides real-time accurate ethane/methane ratio data, ethane/methane detection data and curves, methane/ethane linear correlation, etc.. Combined with AI analysis, it can distinguish natural gas from other interfering methane sources such as automobile exhaust, landfill gas, and animal husbandry, and locates natural gas leaks with unparalleled sensitivity, accuracy, and recognition ability. At the same time, the tablet is equipped with an inspection map, it can emit sound and light alarms when leaks are detected, and record the information during the alarm for future reference.

Core Technology

The analysis system combines patented multi pass battery technology with solid-state lasers and customized electronic devices to achieve 1 PPB sensitivity and PPB level accuracy on a very robust and compact platform. The analysis system operates in the mid-infrared wave band, and its ethane absorption intensity is 6000 times that of the near-infrared absorption wave band.

The patented spectrometer used in each gas analyzer achieves an absorption path length of 13 meters in a very small volume, resulting in ultra-high sensitivity, fast response time, and low power consumption. Temperature and pressure are precisely controlled, providing low drift and high precision.  

The sensor is based on a fixed, sealed optical platform integrating mid-infrared laser and detector components, producing a miniature, ultra sensitive 13-meter-path length spectrometer.
